Shipping

We happily ship our products to every corner of Australia (though we’re not ready to make the leap globally just yet). As ceramics are heavy, fragile and can take up a lot of physical space, safe shipping costs can seem high, but we hope your items are worth the price! We now offer free shipping for orders totaling over $100!

Orders typically ship out of our Marrickville studio within 2 – 3 business days, if the items are in stock. You will receive an order confirmation once your order is placed and a shipping notification when your order has shipped.

Shipping Prices

Studio Pickup: Free!

If you select studio pickup then please include your preferred day/time in the comments field of your order. The studio is open for pickups by appointment only but Louise is usually working there Monday – Friday from 9:00-15:00 as well as 18:00-22:00 some week nights when teaching ceramics classes. We are closed on Sunday and most national holidays.

Free shipping Australia wide for orders over $100! Otherwise the rates below apply:

Shipping is a flat rate that scales with the size of the largest product you order. Small condiment bowls are a lot easier/cheaper to pack and ship versus a large platter.

Small = $5 (eg. condiment & dip bowls, tiny & small blend cups, jewellery dish)
Medium = $10 (eg. dessert & medium bowl, side plate, medium blend cup, small & tiny vase)
Large = $15 (eg. dinner bowl, medium & large plate, medium & large vase)
HUGE = $20 (eg. serving bowl, platter, jumbo vase)

Insurance?

Most items are sent via Australia Post, though larger/heavier items may be sent via courier, however neither parcel service provides insurance on ceramic items and are posted at your own risk. We package all our ceramics securely to minimise the risk of breakage but cannot eliminate it entirely (we wish we could!).

Delivery time frames

*Due to COVID-19 Australia Post is currently experiencing delays with it’s parcel delivery service, so your order may take a little longer than expected to reach you. Please be patient and keep an eye on the details provided by your tracking number*

Instock: 1-2 weeks
Backordered: 2-4 weeks

The reason back-ordered items take so long is that they often need to be made from scratch and this process can take up to 4 weeks depending on the complexity and what else is being made at the same time (kiln space is super valuable, so bigger items may need to wait to fit in).

If you would like to see a picture(s) of the specific items in stock of a particular variant then please add an extra week onto the delivery estimate.

Returns

Customer Returns/Regrets

For purchases made online you have the right to request a return of your purchase within 14 days of delivery. You then have 14 days to return your goods. We do not provide return labels or cover the cost of returns at this time.

If the returning product has been used a concrete evaluation of the actual value and whether it can be resold to another buyer must be processed. A potential devaluation of price may be returned to the buyer. No returned broken goods are accepted.

When sending back an item please enclose a note with your order number (which can be found on your order confirmation) and whether you would like a refund or exchange. If you would like an exchange, please let us know what you would like (if the item is not in stock, we will be in touch). Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.

Please wrap and pack very thoroughly to make sure your returned item doesn’t get damaged during shipping. Tip: items should not be able to move freely in the box.

Packages marked Undeliverable/Address Not Found/Return to Sender

Packages that are returned to the studio by Australia post will automatically be refunded, minus shipping costs. If a return fee is charged to us by our courier service that amount may also be removed from the refunded amount.
